HSM developed the National Committee of Quality Assurance's (NCQA) Quality Dividend Calculator to help employers quantify the value of health care benefits purchased for employees. Using sample data for an employer with xx,000 employees and y,000 retirees, the model calculates the decreases in absenteeism and low productivity days associated with asthma, hypertension, heart disease, chicken pox incidence, depression, diabetes, and smoking.
