Bayer, HSM Launch
National Loyalty-Retention Effort for Health Plans
Bayer Corporation
has launched a national Member Retention Program to aid managed care organizations
in increasing customer loyalty. The HSM Group is providing research, strategic
consulting and implementation on the multi-level project.
Bayer's Member
Retention Program offers three forms of assistance to health plans:
- Grants
for disenrollment research studies
- Grants
for strategic planning and assessment of retention strategies
- Authoritative
information about disenrollment, member retention and loyalty.
The comprehensive
initiative is designed to help managed care organizations improve medical
care and customer service quality; increase employee and provider satisfaction;
understand the nature, causes and impact of voluntary disenrollment; and
develop actionable strategies to reduce voluntary disenrollment.
Program
materials available include The Loyalty Line and a three-monograph
series. The first monograph, Understanding the Relationship Between
Member Satisfaction, Loyalty and Retention was written by HSM Group
members Steven D. Wood, PhD; Michael E. Hunter, MA; and Dana
H. Felthouse, MBA.
For more
information on the Bayer Member Retention Program, contact Dana Felthouse
or David Stefan at The HSM Group at 800-776-8078 or 480-947-8078.
The HSM Group
is proud to announce that the Phoenix Chapter of the International Association
of Business Communicators has recognized both The Loyalty Line
newsletter and the Bayer Member Retention Program launch as Merit Copper
Quill Award winners. The Copper Quill Awards recognize excellence in communication
and marketing.
